Connecting to Wifi

Connect to a PC

1. Select the Network  or icon  in the notification area
2. In the list of networks, choose the network that you want to connect to, and then select Connect
3. Type the security key (often called the password)
4. Follow additional instructions if there are any

Connect to an open network on iOS  

1. From your Home Screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi
2. Turn on Wi-Fi
   • Your device will automatically search for available networks
3. Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want to join
4. After you join the network, you’ll see next to the network and   in the upper-left corner of your display or the upper-right corner on an iPhone X and later.

Connect to a secure network on iOS 

1. Secure Wi-Fi networks are password-protected and have  by their names.
2. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, and make sure Wi-Fi is turned on.
3. Tap the name of the secure Wi-Fi network you want to join.
4. Enter the password for the secure Wi-Fi network, then tap Join. If you can't tap Join, the password you've entered is incorrect.
5. After you join the network, you'll see next to the network and in the upper-left side of your display or the upper-right corner on an iPhone X and later. If you don't know the password to the Wi-Fi network, contact your network administrator.
